NZ Glacial Clay Mask Powder

New Zealand Glacial Clay is a form of high purity Bentonite Clay that has been found in trials to be good for healing, cleansing, detoxifying and calming the skin.

This unique New Zealand clay was formed from volcanic ash and fresh glacial water at the base of the Southern Alps.

You can use this incredible clay as a deeply purifying mask for combination to oily skin.

Glacial Clay may help balance skin tone and we have found that it results in skin that feels soft but firm. This clay can also be used on non-porous, non-damaged hair as a deep cleansing mask to help with the removal of product build-up.

Our jars of clay are 100g.

Directions: Mix a small amount of this clay in a dish with a few drops of water until it forms a smooth paste. Apply to face and leave for 15 minutes or until dry. Gently wash off and moisturise. For dry, combination skin we recommend adding your favorite facial oil or moisturiser instead of water.

For a cleansing hair mask, add water to a small amount of clay as usual and scrub onto damp hair and scalp. Wash with clarifying shampoo and finish with optional conditioner or leave-in spray for optimal softness.
Note - we don’t reccomend this treatment for dry or frizzy hair!
